CleanSierra Posted March 9, 2012 Report Posted March 9, 2012 So a VERY rough idea of what I'm thinking about doing with my amps in my regular cab GMC Sierra: I'm thinking about having a buddy fab up a steel chassis to mount the amps at an angle like that and trim it with wood covered in faux leather vinyl to make it look like it belongs there. My ultimate goal is to build a center console with the amps frenched in, but that is for later. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

I'm glad you noticed the zip ties I used for mock up. The container of zip ties is what I'm using to space the amps apart. I know a guy that's really artistic with steel and I'm thinking about hitting him up. Btw, as far as thieves go, they'd better have special tools. Once they get past the two way alarm, they better know what type of bolts are holding down the amps. My windows are limo anyway, so it's unlikely they'd be seen from outside of the truck. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
