LoudBimmer Posted March 12, 2012 Report Posted March 12, 2012 What is the absolutely smallest sealed enclosure I can put it in? I'm working with .2-.3cf, maybe can get .4
Six Posted March 13, 2012 Report Posted March 13, 2012 IMO you are most likely going to want a ported box anyway, since the DD subs are made for and are better suited to a ported box. Have you looked at their loaded boxes? I would probably recommend the Mini 8" Box.
n8ball2013 Posted March 13, 2012 Report Posted March 13, 2012 they can be ran sealed. just not preferred. He's asking for the SMALLEST I'm sure the loaded isn't the smallest, nor could he fit it to his needs in whatever vehicle hes putting it in. OP hopefully someone with more knowledge of boxes can come in help you out, I'm just learning about boxes myself. LoudBimmer Posted March 13, 2012 Author Report Posted March 13, 2012 I'm plan on adding it to my center console, between rear seats and where it ends (center console). I will cut the center console little bit so I can fit it. Box will be fiberglassed. I could probably make it .5cf, but It might be sticking up too much.
LoudBimmer Posted March 13, 2012 Author Report Posted March 13, 2012 Ash tray I want to cut out and make a custom box there.
TheNewbie Posted March 13, 2012 Report Posted March 13, 2012 Ah, i'm sure someone can design you up something what sub is it for? Check out my build log: http://www.stevemead...60#entry1958353 Different folks have different strokes.
