orion hcca 15.2 box and amp

i need some help. i just bought a orion hcca 15.2 and i need help with building a box. i need to know how big it should be and what port size it should be. for both spl and sq if possible. i have looked at other forums and on orisons web sight but i want someone else's opinion. my largest dimensions are 12,35,35. also i have a bamf 5500 running at one ohm. is that enough power or should i get another and strap them or just buy a new amp. thanks

Sub up is not usually recommended in trunk type of vehicles. you seem to have 12" height.

i would like it so i could face it in the cabben but i don't want to build a box that is 17 in high and have it not fit. the lowest point in my trunk is 17in. would i be able to build a box that would fit?

Well you have to consider options, for exaample a bit slanted box could be one, also note that the mounting depth is 11.575", you have 12 - 0.75 height to fit the sub.

so what angle could i make it and would that effect the port?

Based on a 15" height and a 14 deg slant you could probably fit the sub (don't have the motor diameter), one other thing, you would need 13" to fit it facing up.

The sub cutout itself is a hair over 15", so good luck with that.
