i have a 2010 dodge 2500 with a cummins diesel with 2 batts under hood what are direct repalcements for this... D6500?? also want to run additional battery in back can i mount this in the cab without any problems? and do i just run positive front to positive rear and ground rear to frame do i need fuses in positive run?

Pull out a tape measure, figure out the dimensions of your stock battery and if you have room to grow, then go pick a battery via your measurements.

For fusing, you need a fuse next to (as close as possible to) each battery. And ground it to whatever you plan on using for the ground (geeze, did that make sense?) In other words, if you will be doing all of your grounds to the frame, ground it to that. If you will be doing them from the body, then ground to that.

i guess the next question is what are you running in this truck?

that would determine what you will need as far a fueses ect.
