bikeyourride
hey guys, again, this is what boredom does. i had these two pioneer's and two sony's kickin around. and i had an old house infinity amp that ran two 10 inch subwoofers.woofers were shot. so i figured heck.. both subs could be ran at 8 ohm's, lets put em in a box and see what they sound like. i had it sealed up first run but it didnt produce the sound i wanted. so i put an 4 inch down firing port, and boom i got what i wanted. and surprisingly enough the infinity amp has enough power to run all four of them. but i have my eye out for four matching woofers now. its ugly as sin but sounds amazing. thought i would share with you guys. thanks! WillPwn4Food
Damn. How many watts are you pushing to them? Tuning? I just got done building myself a home theater sub, too. Not nearly as giant as yours, but damn, it sounds and looks amazing. 12" fosgate R2D2 taking 300 watts at 31.5hz. Sounds a little better than my little Polk PSW10 http://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/381552_10150515769564228_514294227_8568353_1882270219_n.jpg Wall build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/174827-walled-taurus-with-lambo-doors/#entry2571893 real men dont use fuses Neither do moronsSays the guy with lambo doors on his Ford Taurus. bikeyourride
haha i use an PSW10 woofer for a ashtray! the amp is an infinity SSW 210, i think its only 200 watts rms. they still move pretty good tho and im not sure about the tuning. all this was stuff i had laying around the house. only took an hour to build thanks for your comment! WillPwn4Food
Wow, I thought for sure that amp would be pushing a bit more. That thing is pretty big. I bought myself a BASH 300s plate amp to match a Fosgate R2D2. Nicest sounding subwoofer I've ever heard. Was the first enclosure I've ever built. Next project? Walling a Taurus! Crandis16
Looks really nice and clean, I'm liking the plate amp as opposed to a car battery and battery maintainer. My Red zx2 Build Log My Black zx2 Build Log My Red zx2 UBL

Zapanater
Dry-walled rooms sound great, no sound loss or rattle. I've got my IDSPLs in my dorm room. On 150 watts apiece it sounds pretty darn good! 2015 Subaru Outback. That is all, I refuse to touch it.
