bass_stalker Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 i dont think my current box is allowing my to use my tumult 15's to their full potental. it is currently 6.02 cubic foot tuned to 31 hz with 16 inches of port area per foot, i think it has loading issues because 1 of the subs loads off of the port while the other one doesnt, the box is also sub up port up. so for that reason i'm thinking building a box for 1 15" thats 3.5 cubic foot tuned in the mid 30's probobly sub up port back. i'm open to whatever ideas or advice you guys have. RAM_Designs Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 Where do you feel like your current box is lacking? The Tumult is ideally a home audio sub with it's huge Vas and very low Fs of 18hz. Try sealing up your current box and see what you think. Might as well since you'll be changing boxes anyways.
