I would do a thin piece of wood over the current cutout and make it fit to size this way you can also hide the ugly dremel skills.

but with the current brackets the headunit is too far back for the trim ring. if i could get it closer i could make it wrk. but then the scrcrew holes for my mounts stripped. i shaved em down....im a lil bent outta shape

if i do that i could round over the iner rectangle for the HU n bondo the piece into tthe wood

also....new mb quart 1000 watt amp is nower near as loud as rf 600.1 but much cleaner and eliminated engine noise

Okay so then use some wood to fill the gap you need or get a din kit and glass around the din kit then you can mount the headunit to that. Post pics of the double din in the whole so I can try and come up with a way to make it work.
