On the other hand, I can scrape up a few hundred over the course of a month or so, and would like to make a worthy investment, bettering up what I currently have. I have been taking good interest in the new amps the Ray has brought to our disposal. I am liking the looks of the 5 channel amp he is selling. It puts about 70 watts x4 at 4 ohms which is a bit over rms on my front speakers, and is decent for my rear 6x9s. The amp does 200 watts at 4 ohms x1. Now I have 2 10" JBL subs that are i dont know how old. The suspension on them is insanely loose, and I can easily reach their xmax if I really wanted to. Now I do not want to spend that much, but I was looking between these two options. I was looking at either trying to find a recone kit for these subs, or buy a pair of RF P2 10's which are 250w RMS and about $70 retail. I would like to try, and if possible keep my subs and just recone them. Does anyone know of any recone kits I could use? I know Fi has non-fi recone kits, and I was looking at one off their site that is $65 stock with no additions. enoceR-ES-ER ER-ES Series Recone kits.
