Brandonrcm
Run the power wire from the alt to the battery? Do it as if you was hooking up a system in a car without the battery in the trunk
Rebel4055
That's exactly how they get power from the alt up front lol. Quote Rest In Peace mother. scottam
Run a long wire lol thats crazy thought 5 feet plus of wire to just do it?!?! it seems more reasonable to just run a new battery and power it off that.
Rebel4055
That's the only thing that sucks about rear battery cars. Quote Rest In Peace mother. SnowDrifter
Either way: you will have to get power to the back of the car. If you put a battery in the front: you still have to run wire to the back for the amp. And why are you complaining about 5+ feet of wire? It's 2-3 bucks per foot. Not that bad. Get 20-25 feet of it and that should be all you need Quote ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444

Either for the amp, or in your case a battery. Front battery: Short + run to battery Long + run to amp Rear battery: Long + run to battery Short + run to amp It's pretty much the same amount of wire either way Quote ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
