VIPmeetSPL Posted March 29, 2012 Report Posted March 29, 2012 ok fellas here it goes my best friend wants a system in her ride we have a budget of 750 for everything ive been contemplating RE audio but i want to see if there are much options out there still keep in mind i need to get a head unit aswell would like for it all to be matching as no matter what equipment is used this system has to look real clean after im done fabbing up beauty panels and such something that says wow thats nice even if its not a numbers build help me out guys im stuck on this one could be a mixture of 2 brands if you have input on just the highs end or just the bass end let it be known anything helps and please prices if possible this damn budget seems to be no good thanks fellaz list of whats needed ---- highs amp ---- bass amp ---- subs ---- door speakers ---- head unit wiring and box and all that is taken care of by me lets get some ideas please also would prefer matching

I would go with mbquart for amps but I am biased. lol Better amps can be found but for the price I couldn't find any. There isn't any need to go all matching unless you are dead set on it. I run Clarion, image dynamics, goldwood, dayton, and selenium in my car. Everyone gets along just fine. Brand matching may also be more expensive as it gives you less options to choose from. Look for reconditioned or rebuilt HU from manufacture. Got mine 150 bux cheaper than new. How much space does she have available for subs? That will help you decide which to use and the sub amp to power it. Does she want 2 10" ,1 15" ,etc.? 2005 Ford Focus zx4 AMT's and Planars 18" Infinite baffle
VIPmeetSPL Posted March 30, 2012 Author Report Posted March 30, 2012 yea told her that. nope she not going for it lol i got nice and close with re audio around 600 for everything with 2 10s bass amp highs amp 4 door speakers wiring kit still missing cheap HU though but i wanted to see more options out there not just on 1 she wants something just cozy not too loud but nice sounding
