Just some 3/4 birch rings. Gave me plenty of room

o ok cool i actually ordered some little 1/4 spacers yesterday or the day before (i keep saying spacers and have no idea if thats the correct name for it lol) cuz they were only like a couple bucks for a pair so i figured i'd give em a shot since i need to order more ring terminals anyhow....if the 1/4" ones don't work ill definately try the 3/4 birch or mdf...watever i can find lol

ok was doing a little bit of work on the truck after i got off work and decided i wanted to hook the 4 channel up just for the heck of it...but when i tried to turn it on i got protect light....struck me as odd....so i grabbed a short wire and touched pos of battery to remote on amp and presto it turned on....so my question is is there a minimum voltage required for the remote wire? and if so what is it because i used remote off the headunit last time to turn on all 3 amps and now it won't turn on just the one amp...only thing different is there is a switch between there now?

But aside the from the remote turn on issue i managed to do a little bit before running out of ring terminals >.<

than was cutting some 1/0 gauge and putting techflex on the ones that would be under the hood

so over all not a very productive day but its all good...im off tomorrow so ill see if i cant get some stuff done

well had a day off today and somehow managed to waste most of it lol but i did manage to get a little something done and take a few pics. for the most part its mostly done. all i got to do is put a few panels on, secure all the 1/0 runs underneath, and screw 6.5s in and than ill be ready to just drop the subs in when they come ....ok now for some pics and a probably random order haha

Looking good..what I don't agree with is the single 0g wire that you use to link the batterys in back. I would do at least 2 on pos and neg

you talking bout the jumpers i guess you could say that connect all the xp3000's together? if so i got some 1/0 gauge left ....i like seeing lots of 1/0 gauge in my truck...makes me feel badass for a sec til i come back to reality haha

Yea the jumpers...I. just think 1 isn't sufficient to utilize all the amperage of the battery bank..kinda like having 3 -350amp alternators and 1 run of 0g.lol just my opinion..some mite say because the jumpers arrue small in length it doesn'tr matter but I think it does..I have dual inputs on my amps coming off a distribution block that has 6runsof 0g from my back battery bank for pos an neg..
