Really Hard decision (2600 watts or 3400) ????

Im thinking about going bigger for my 2 12" fi bl since I got PSI recones I want to take them a lil farther so Im going to need a bigger amp so Im thinking about getting a soundstream tx1.2600d to power them because I hear nothing but good things from them but then I recently came across a Soundstream DTR1.3400D so now Im like whoa thats alot of power and may come handy In the future but the only thing thats holding me back is electrical upgrades lol Im planning on getting a 250 amp altenator and a second battery in the first place but I think that I might need to get more to run the amp at its full potential but thats basically my problem In a nut shell If you can help please post some good advice

Buy the big amp and set the gains low so that you are not stressing your electrical. There is nothing wrong with getting 2500w from a 3400w in this situation and later you can add two more BLs or do a woofer swap, upgrade electrical and twist the dial for full tilt. It will be much easier than swapping amps later.

Thats what I did on a smaller scale. I only needed 500 watts but I got a 1200 watts amp bc I knew I was going to upgrade later. I set my gains very low until I upgraded then turned them up
