Is this like Loud or what? It increases the volume and I'm curious if it clips it like Loud does. It is on my Pioneer DEH-6000UB

the purpose of SLA is to adjust the volume of different sources. like when you switch from ipod to fm with the volume on 40, fm is quieter so you turn it up to like 43 til its just as loud as the ipod setting. SLA is used to compensate for that. so you'd turn it to +3 or whatever while on fm, so when you're at 40 and you switch from ipod to fm, its the same volume.

Okay I think I understand. Why is there an adjustment for CD, USB, and AUX then?
