Power Acoustik HU

Hello, this is my first real post; but i have been reading the forums and trying to learn about car audio for quite some time.

Anyways, I'm trying to get figured out what I'm going to put into my first system. I am looking at a power acoustik single DIN dvd headunit. I have read that their amps are terrible but couldn't find much about their headunits. So has anyone worked with this headunit in the past or know anything about the quality of their headunits?
