So im either looking at

1 10 inch z v.3

1.4ft³ Box with 1 4" 24inch aero

Hifonics 1200watt amp

Or

2 8 inch SA v.2

1.4ft³ Box with 2 3" 20inch aeros

hifonics 1200watt amp

Anyone got any opinions on whats best?

lookn at pic it seem that you have tried to hid sub by sealing them against seat

go idea to stop thieves but not for sound

in that case you are restricted a lot,

you could do 3 sealed sa8 the way you your are now, you will have alittle less cone area but the will be in their optimum sealed box of 0.28cuft

if you can also look at making the box a tighter fit to the edge and maybe even a t-shaped over wheel arch

i use to have a old 40 series landcruiser with the same style wheel arches and i built the box level with the top and to the inner sides, and above the wheel arches i fitted 7x10

3 sealed sa8 v1 or v2 in 0.3cuft each

with 2x 4" components or 4" 2 ways

i think im gonna order the sa-8s v.2s and build the box with them up firing with 2 20inch aeros, will that be a large increase in quality and sound from my old set up? (2 comp 10s in a sealed box)

2 sa8v2 in 0.6-0.75 each on 5-600rms each ported will be heaps louder then the 2 10

oh i was thinking almost 1k to each one lol but i might do like 800?

For $600 the sa 12 with a sundown amp would be good, but the amp will get pricey
