Guest
That program is step 2 in the design process. Step 1 is using a WinISD, BassBox Pro, etc mocking up a decent response. winisd and bbp dont take into account vehicle response, so their graphs are completely irrelevant unless you put a mic in your car and measured sweeps. Ah dangit, thanks for catching that.. I had to modify some stuff.. I'm .5 from recommended.. over.. think it's going to be alright? looks good man. i dont know why everyone is telling you to put 100sqin of port per cube. its a 500 watt sub for god sakes. TheNewbie
That's alright, the port parts length would be: L Port Internal Assembly Parts: Front to Back = 9 x 12 1/2 Extension = 18 1/2 x 12 1/2 Thanks, so the cutout on Torres is right, right? Joe X
I have never checked that before but it's ok, that is if you don't mind cutting a 11+ in. sub cutout in a 12.5" tall panel.. to avoid issues when the box is not tall enough for an easy panel cut I go for all across baffles.. it's just a question of preference. TheNewbie
I cut those peices out.. something is not right with the port peices, sure those are correct Joe? TheNewbie
I know it's late, but was curious if anyone would google sketchup the specs above? I can't seem to figure how to rotate and move Quote Check out my build log: http://www.stevemead...60#entry1958353 Different folks have different strokes. I had changed my width to 30.. forgot to post it that's my fault, but it's not the length that I'm worried about.. the port isn't the same height as the sides, and front and back..
