I think this is looking good man! You've done well! If I were you, in order to just finish the box, I'd take it out, and use flat black primer and leave it at that. Reason? Cause if you decide to go color later, it's primed already, and if you decide to go carpet, it's primed and won't matter. If you don't get to it and don't know what to do, like current, it's painted and not raw wood. Another product you could use is Rustoleum Leak Seal and you can get it at any home deopt, lowes, or hardware store as far as I know. It's a little pricey, but it will do a couple of things. It will seal up the enclosure for sure if any corners or seams have been missed, and it will give you a nice textured look to it. Takes a while to dry, but I used it on a piece I built a while ago and it's good stuff.

On your port, I would've thought you could've split it in half and gone up the side of the outside of the box. So half the port is outside, and half the port is inside. But instead of going straight out, it's pointing up outside of the box. Looks like you have enough space between the enclosure and the side panel to get it to snake up there. Just suggestions.

Everything is looking clean man. Keep up the good work! Looking forward to more!

Wouldn't it have been easier(as far as running wires to it) to have mounted the one amp right side up instead of upside down? The bends on the power and ground wires are gonna be pretty extreme. I'm liking the way it's coming along though for sure.

As far as the battery fitment, can't you just use some little shims in the spot it's located now? That would stop it from moving around on you.

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

reason its upside down is because its easier to get to the settings on the amp....thats the only reason why i did it that way....and the 4g fosgate wire is pretty damn flexible........but trust me if its a pain in the ass i will turn it around.......and ass far as the amp i may not need anything....im going to shave the one corner of the amp rack to be able to slide it about 3 inches more so it will be right beside the wall.......

Ok guys...I have a question....I'm gonna fuse the power coming from the XS and then from that to a distro block and then just running 4g to both amps....or do I need to fuse both power wires going to the amps? And what size fuse do I need....both amps are RF Power...400.4 and 1000.

I would fuse both amps just to be safe. Can never over protect. Looking at the manuals it says 150 amps for the 1000.1, and 100 amps for the 400.4.

If it just takes you to the top of those manuals, it's in the specifications section.

Also you should fuse at the front battery to the back, and at the back battery, all in the same line. so it should look like this: front battery - fuse - line - fuse - secondary battery - fuse - distro block - fuse - amp. Unless the distro block has fuses in it. IF it does, then you don't need to fuse to the amps. The distro block will carry that fuse instead.

Make sense? All in the name of safety!
