skittlesRgood
I'm not sure what you mean by terminal your amp correctly but don't they usually have problems when you connect or disconnect the rcas while there is power to the hu? you mean when someone takes a hot RCA and the middle pin touches the outer part of the female connector, creating a short. a big job of a fuse is to protect against failure when there is a short. why people hot swap RCAs is beyond me. seems like common sense to turn off the radio. It's completely user error when that fuse blows. Pioneer could have put in a protection circuit instead, and they do on the DDs I have bought, but its not pioneer's fault that the fuse keeps blowing. Ray
Or when you have power hooked up to the amp first and then plug in rcas before there is a ground. Guess where the amp tries to ground... The rca's. Always hook up rcas last Always disconnect rca's first Quote 2008 California state record holder 157.2 Bassrace2009 California state record holder 157.0 BassraceRollin 50's 158.7db2009 King of Cali Bassrace2009 USACi score 160.5 @ 42hz
