Would Doing Something Like This Diy Be All That Hard?

Recommended Posts

hrmmm nooooope ... but comon , it cant be that difficult?

it is alot harder then it looks. if all those panels are removable it would be as hard. but getting material of any kind around all those curves with no big wrinkles or tears would be pretty difficult for someone who has never done it before. grab a price of dash from a scrapyard or if you have one laying around and try wrapping it in fabric to get an idea what its like. you have to remember not all fabrics stretch both, one, or any ways .

Not just with the fabric work, you also have some fiberglass work. The job would take a while to do, but yes, it can be done, if you have the time, patience, and finances to be able to learn and do.

As mentioned by FCsteve, get a practice dash or panel and practice your hearts content out. Only way to find out if the job is going to be hard to do is to jump right in and start learning to do it.
