Help double check all my fusing for me

alright... i just want to make sure i have everything correct before i start to put stuff in.

1. The stock location for the battery in my car is under the rear seat, i replaced the stock battery with an XS d2700.

I did the big three, the positive wire that comes off the alt to the battery has two 250amp fuses. The first one is within 2 feet of the alternator, and the 2nd one is within 2 feet of the battery. Was having the fuse near the battery in addition to near the alternator necessary, or just overkill? Should i have used 300a fuses instead? BTW I still have the stock alt, its a 125amp alternator.

2. In the trunk i have two more XS power d2700's connected with 0awg, no fusing. I did not use fusing because the 0awg is basically like buss bars, and those have no fuses. No fuses were needed, correct?

3. The distance between the battery underneath my rear seat, and the ones in the trunk is about 4 feet... I have yet to hook the additional batteries to the primary one because i was unsure about this question. Do i need a fuse on the positive wire that connects the primary battery to the battery bank? Do i need two fuses? If yes, what size fuse?

1: Yes, some say it's overkill, but I say better safe than sorry.

2: You are correct.

3: If a power wire goes from point A to point B and those points aren't right next to each other like the setup in question #2, I'd say throw a fuse on them to be on the safe side. 250 amp fuses are most likely the best route to go. And just one fuse on that short run should be fine.
