baaudio Posted April 20, 2012 Report Share Posted April 20, 2012 i just received my singer 250a alt today and at first ill admit i was really irritated about the performance BUT this alt is pulling so hard that my belt was slipping even at idle, so i replaced that with a nice gates belt but stock length. i still have really bad slip. so my question is how would i go about figuring out which length belt i need and if i should make the pulley to the right (left on car, right in pic) larger to improve belt wrap. right now i have less then 50% wrap for sure Team NWSPL baaudio Build Log 2001 GMC Sierra walkthrough 4 Mechman Elite 370s, 10 AGM batteries, 3 Crossfire XS v2 18s, Crossfire 8k Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
