mattp Posted April 29, 2012 Author Report Posted April 29, 2012 are you trying to get a higher resting voltage or just less of a drop? Im assuming your amp is 7500 watts... Your not gonna get much bettter voltge drop with one alternator and that much current draw. You can start off with higher voltage but it will fall to just about the same thing. I want to get better resting voltage... I got two more alts to put on, just need to get a bracket for them. I would like less drop too Quote TEAM DC AUDIO 1999 Tahoe HU-Clarion flip out & Clarion EQS746 Mids/Highs Amp-MB QUART ONX4.125 Mids/Highs- Undecided Sub Amp-DC Audio 7.5 Subs-4x DC Audio xl 18s Alt- 270sp & 250sp Dc Power Big 3 1/0 http://dcaudio.us/ SPL-LAB sells rep. for IOWA http://spllabusa.proboards.com/

I would like less drop too You will probably need different regulators for better initial voltage and definitely need to add the alts for better voltage drop. Sounds like you may have a lower voltage regulator in there now. Or your meter isnt reading right. Quote
