Need HELP with a 99 tahoe 5.7

Recommended Posts

are you trying to get a higher resting voltage or just less of a drop? Im assuming your amp is 7500 watts... Your not gonna get much bettter voltge drop with one alternator and that much current draw. You can start off with higher voltage but it will fall to just about the same thing.

I want to get better resting voltage... I got two more alts to put on, just need to get a bracket for them. I would like less drop too

You will probably need different regulators for better initial voltage and definitely need to add the alts for better voltage drop. Sounds like you may have a lower voltage regulator in there now. Or your meter isnt reading right.
