Re audio has the xtx5000.1 that is in the same price range. Its not amazing quality but equal to the aq. Better the hifonics.

i have 2 xtx5000.1 and they are way better quality than the brutus bzr2400d i upgraded to sundown 4500d though

Run 4 of the AP mini 1500s lol. They're about 150 a piece and do rated power. I'm running this in my daily driver on a 15" SP4 next month.

OP.. who is designing your box, who will build it? i would stay away from the pre fab, also what electrical do you have and what are you plans to upgrade on electrical?

My dad has he has been doing car audio for over 20 years and he built the box for my set up I have right now which is a 12w7 and I want to build this box with him to see how it would be done I know everything on installing systems and running wires just not building a box and I'm slowly learning the ohms and stuff. But I am just looking for an amp that is insanely reliable and great quality that everyone reccomends that is affordable. I am hoping I will have everything needed for the install by August but we will see so far i have around 600 bucks saved up its just hard with a minimum wage job part time haha. But anywho Im just looking for what most people would reccomend. I want to make sure I am giving the sub enough power to where it isnt going to be drasticly underpowered or overpowered. But yeah my dad has built many boxes so he knows what he will be doing.

are you gonna have a high output alternator/batteries? or do you and your dad just wanna throw it in, wire up a couple runs of 8gauge to the rear and see what happens?
