genesis Posted September 16, 2013 Report Posted September 16, 2013 Thanks man I got the idea after finding the led bulbs on ebay looked for premade needles on eBay with no luck then after checking Google came across a video of a guy with the same car/dash doing it to his and for a $1 investment I'm happy with the results. how so? nightmares are often easy to figure out with a second perspective. Yeah I have an iPhone 3g but the WiFi, gps, and Bluetooth antenna went out on it Eh, I took my cluster apart to change the burned out bulbs to led (my gauge cluster requires backlighting at all times, or you cant see it), and to get to the bulbs you have to remove 20 screws from the back of the unit. These screws are SUPER sensitive. If they're too loose, gauge wont work (will not nove at all, or randomly go high to low). If too tight, will not read accurately. Basically it was a few week long ordeal of install, drive and test, remove, redo screws, recheck, etc. For every gauge
