you could gorilla glue it on, but that might cause it to take a piece of the window with it next time instead of just the mirror. I would just go buy a new sticky pad for it and put it back on

yea i did, after i ran a wire to the ignition, and it was blown so i changed it and just took out the wire that i ran to the ignition

well you can run the ground without any covering on it, but i wouldn't recommend it because if it touches something that has a positive charge its gonna short. Best bet is to just use wire with insulation on it

bakermanINC, i was saying since the yellow wire isn't long enough just connect more wire on it and run it to the positive terminal on the battery

running a wire to the battery isn't gonna happen because thats how i got the car and then you still lose the settings because you have to have a switch to turn it off and when you turn it off you still lose the settings...

i ran a wire to my ignition wire and it worked great, only problem is that after i turn the key off i lose all of my settings on my headunit, which was one of the problems to begin with, is there any way to keep the settings on my headunit when the key is turned off?

i was looking for a car and it took me about three monthes to find it, but i constantly checked craigslist and i bought it yesterday

it seems like more work than just running a wire, couldn't i just run a wire and then it would turn on the radio when the ignition was turned on?

what exactly is a relay? just a regular wire? and do i gotta take apart the dash to do that or what do i gotta do?

I recently purchased a 1992 Honda Civic Hatchback VX. The guy had wired the headunits 12v constant directly to the battery because he said he was getting no power to the headunit otherwise. I tried hooking it up the other way and he was right, but i don't want to use a switch like he had for the headunit because if you turn it off you lose all your settings. I was wondering if theres any way to buy the entire wiring harness that goes from the headunit to wherever else it goes, and if i can how would i take out the old one and replace it, if theres any other reason it might not be working let me know that too. Thanks in advance
