fairly new to car audio, 1 18" box help

If you don't know what we are talking about: either stick around and read - you will pick it up. Or post your max dimensions, what subwoofer you are using, what amplifier you are using, and what style of music you listen to.

this we can't help you if you don't speak the car audio language. lol

and for a cheap amp you could use this

http://www.ebay.com/...#ht_3445wt_1396

And just make sure you do the big 3 and get a good ground for the amp and you should be ok as long as your not clipping the signal anywhere.

And try to get 5-7 cubes tuned anywhere from 30-35hz

and you can use the re audio box calculator even though its not the most accurate it should work to get you in the ball park but tune a little lower with this in order to cover for the sub displacement.

how is audioque i dont know if ive ever came across them before i havfent listened to any of their products

Me personally i love Audioque. great subs at a great price point. but just like all things some will like them and some won't. but if your coming from main stream products then a 18 inch AQ sub will bring you a smile from ear to ear.

oh and also what other budget 18 would you suggest because alot of people say audioque i just want to see if theres anything else out there. at maximum id spend 400 on it, i wouldnt like to id much rather settle for 350 but is there any other 1k+ decent 18 for 400 or less?

yeah if that box will fit then you can do a 18. and you can tweak the size a bit and still be good to go.
