SnowDrifter
OP: it will take the power no problem. Have you considered getting 2 smaller amps and running 1 per coil? caspers bass
well only got price range of $300-400 so really ive only been lookin at aq and crescendo so if i find an amp that can do 2k at 2 ohms in that price range i will or you want to suggest one go ahead. and about the 2 smaller amps i havent thought of that but i might actually do that
Guest
only way you'll run 2 amps on 1 sub is if you buy a cc-1 or something. you HAVE to gain match the amps, otherwise one coil will be getting more power than the other. which can cause harm Edited May 3, 2012 by Kranny
GSanders17
Another thought that comes to mind is using two strappable amps and get alot of power at 2 ohms. The Sundown SAX-1200D comes to mind. Not really in the price range you have but would be another option.
