G-Rad
Looking for a single DIN flip out head unit that flips down for a build/install. The vehicle it's going in is a 2001 Dodge Ram single cab. Reason a flip down is needed is because a flip-up obstructs the AC vents. If a flip down is not even possible, then so be it. Just wanting to ask. Tried googling and a bunch of flip ups came out of it. Maybe you guys might have beter ideas. Tried AUdiosavings and Sonicelectronix. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks. baaudio
Soundstream has one. It's not a flip down per say as the screen doesn't move. But its a single din radio with a double din screen, screen hangs down though. Honestly though I wouldn't spend my money on it. kamikazi117
I owned one of those soundstream single din headunits with the hang-down screen. It wasnt bad honestly. Only thing i hated about it was the volume control. Has 4v outs, front, rear, and sub outs. Payed a good price for all the features. But then again i cant really compare to anything since ive only owned 4 headunits and 3 were just standard single dins.
G-Rad
My friend has a Soundstream HU, not sure if it's the same one, or a double din one, but it was pretty nice, I thought. He just has it with 2 10's and the factory speakers wired directly to the radio.
