When mine fires up you have to pretty much yell to hear someone right next to you. I looked on home depots website and they have a 20 gallon Husky compressor for only $180 bucks. But for that price I would be VERY cautious. That's the cheapest price I have ever seen for a compressor that size. Oil lubed, belt driven (not direct drive), and iron (not aluminum) parts tend to make a compressor quieter. But when you're looking at these sort of things they're typically not within the $150 range models... Have a question about Second Skin? E-Mail me!
