It's on my seat bolts, sanded with a grinder down to bare metal. Well I actually have 2 amps running.

Hfi1500 and a small rf p300.1

The seatbolts are not the best place to put a ground. If you could just drill your own hole, place lock washers and nuts on inside the cabin and outside. If you took a small run and bolted directly to the frame(sanded shiny), it would be a better ground. Like this:

When my buddy had his durango I ran the ground wire through a factory hole and grounded it right to the frame with a bolt. With the surface ground down with a angle grinder lol.

I've had my ground to a frame, same thing, it made no difference..

i will just see how it goes once i do the 3rd wire from - to chassis

I would have left it on the frame period. And like I said before it's not going to make light dimming 100% disappear.
