I've been scouring google for new instruments and plug-in's and found a great site that has free VST plug ins.

I downloaded a few of the patches and I am absolutely blown away by them.

I LOVE them.

I'm starting some new projects featuring these packs and here is a unfinished sample.

No bass in this one yet, but you can see where it's going.

Tell me what you think of this new song.

I'm still trying to figure out where the bass should come in at, and at what frequency.

i love that sound. however u need a story to ur songs. each one just sounds like a, a, b, a, bridge, end. u know short to the point but ends with no point.

ive noticed that all songs worth listening to have a story. even without lyrics songs can tell a story. u need a plot to describe wit ur music. id look into some movie music like that from star wars or LOTR or other fantasy titles like that. they all tell stories very well.

dont just make beat to make a beat. make one with a meaning this time. sumthin truly made wit ur heart, ur anger, ur love, ur pure hatred, ur sense of humor, sumthin worth listening too.

and like i said b4 i love the sound of that new beat. a little work and u got sumthin epic there

I tried not to 1-2-3-4 it this time, but apparently I must have. DAMNIT!

It's hard working with out good recording equipment.

If someone feels like donating a MIDI to USB cord, PM me.

I think that would help a load.

actually that one was the least bad for the 1-2-3-4

take a memeory from your life and compose to it. also use the dynamics dont be afraid to get quiet and then just explode. change the tempos. really play with it make it artistic. music composition cannot be taught its sumthin u have and know how to do.
