sbg Posted May 15, 2012 Report Posted May 15, 2012 so i just put in a kinetik hc 600 in the back..... had some problems with it blowing fuses (80) amps.... now i have put in 150 anl fuses in front after batt then 150 anl befor the kinetik then a 150 anl befor the amp, so the problem im haveing now is that its all work good and not blowing fuses but is now hiting at like 3/4 loud as it was befor. not sure whats going on with it now , someone know whats going on? 01 focus se 110 amp alt Big 3 sky high and stinger hpm ofc 1/0 Super start platinum AGM (starting) 2 runs of 1/0 Execution audio front to back Kenwood double DIN DDx271 A pillars- orion 4" super tweeter and 2-1" alpines. skittlesRgood Posted May 15, 2012 Report Posted May 15, 2012 ummm... want to give a lot more info there chief? amps, wire size, fuse holders used, etc. what fuse of the 3 was blowing? when/how did it blow? do you own a DMM? check voltage going into the amp. sbg Posted May 15, 2012 Author Report Posted May 15, 2012 its 4 ga cadance comp wire, 130amp stock alt , new batt in front but a cheap 800 amps advaned auto parts batt , 150anl fuses/holders are bullz audio, planet audio AP 1500D, 2 -12'' re audio RS dvc 2ohm ran at 2 ohm.. so 750 -800rms to them. so i had them same fuse set up with dblink 80amps and was blowing them fast like 2 min... 1st 1 was amp to kinetik then next day the fuse befor the kinetik... never blew the frnt fuse.. 01 focus se 110 amp alt Big 3 sky high and stinger hpm ofc 1/0 Super start platinum AGM (starting) 2 runs of 1/0 Execution audio front to back Kenwood double DIN DDx271 A pillars- orion 4" super tweeter and 2-1" alpines.
