I have a 2008 dodge caliber that the starter went out on this past friday morning wile driving down the street.

sounds odd but how it happened is my starter was engaging while the car was running in turn burned up the starter. Now the funny part. done some research and have found out that if I have HID lights installed on my car and I have the relay wiring harness that is required to keep them from flashing cause of the canbus.

What I am wanting to know is if anyone here has had the same problem or knows someone that has and how was it fixed or solved without removing the HID's. I really like the HID's and donot want to remove them just want a bypass or even a switch that will work. and I am also looking for a ingition trigger that I can use to power the relay so if I forget to turn the lights off they shut off anyways. I do not mind having to run a switch for the lights.
