New setup

So i just put in my new box i built and wired everything up. I had a ported pro box dat wuz tuned at 45 hz with 4 cu. ft. per sub and i built a new one with 12 cu. ft. port tuned to 33 hz. and honestly i like the probox better. The new one hits deeper thats all. Should i have tuned it to a different tone? I wanted it musical but loud. Oh and subs are 2 kicker solobaric l7 15's with 2 planet audio bb2400.1 strapped together. This is my first build.
