SkateMike519
Friend of mine owns an alternator shop and he said that I can upgrade my alt from a stock 105 to a 200 but it wouldn't use the full 200 unless I was revving to around 5k RPM. Is this even worth it? All I have is a BRZ 1700.1 stock front batt and shuriken BT-20 in rear. 2 - Sundown Audio SA-12 D4 (Box tuned to 34 hrz) 1 - RF t1500.1bdcp 1 - RF t400.4 2 - JL Audio C5 5 1/4 in front doors 2 - JL Audio C5 570 in rear deck 2 - JL Audio ZR100 in front pillars 1 - Kenwood ExCelon HU
CleanSierra
What's output around 1500-2500RPM? If its no bueno, then I'd pass. That BRZ WILL pull some current at 1 ohm, so anything would be better than the stock 105A. How much is he gonna charge? Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you. Guest
go with a mechman/dc power alt. i guarantee that he's just gonna swap out the stator. so then there is going to be so much fucking heat produced by the alt that it will cause its internals to fail much faster. and not to mention there will be literally 0 idle output.
