Your attitude goes a long way to getting help. You ask the right questions and dont catch an attitude. That is a rarity. Its obvious you want to learn and aren't here just to find someone to help you. You want to be able to help yourself and others in the future.

Now about that box

Turn that sucker around put the port at the top and seal it off. You just built your first wall.

Freakin' nice. :D

I'm coming in late on this one, but yep- putting the subs on the port face, facing it forward and sealing off the sides will be night and day from your original plan.

Just be sure you bolt it down somehow! I dunno if Tahoes/Suburbans have them, but Astros had a hook up for the bench seat. I just used hooks to attach to the former seat hook-up. Get that part done too and you will be golden! :D

You have a beard of a mysterious sea captain. I would follow you to hell and back.

Thanks man I really am just trying to learn. Love the hospitality of this community. But I'm headed to lowes to get some wood later on and then it's wall time! As for the bolting down, the third row hooks are about 8" behind the box
