GTPT Posted May 22, 2012 Report Posted May 22, 2012 Alright I have 2 Type R 1043D subs they are 4 ohm DVC - 600 watts RMS each I also have 2 Soundstream pca1000d amps (500x1 @ 4 ohms) (800x1 @ 2 ohms) (1000x1 @ 1 ohm) Should I run both subs of one amp, or One sub on each amp? Currently in a single ported enclosure.

CleanSierra Posted May 22, 2012 Report Posted May 22, 2012 1 sub each amp @ 2ohms. make sure your not clipping! You'll have to gain match the 2 amps if you run two different amps for subs in the same enclosure. I'd do that too though, run at 2 ohms from two separate amps. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

GTPT Posted May 22, 2012 Author Report Posted May 22, 2012 I used the DD-1 on the amps. Both amps are set the same. and thanks for the info. Thats how I have them set 1 amp on 1 sub @ 2 ohms
