Box Help DD9512fs

Hopefully the title got the attention of those who are proficient in designing boxes. I myself normally stick to slot ports, but to save space and fit 2 12s in my trunk car I am looking at going aero ports.

I'll be running 2 9512f most likely D2 possibly D1.5 with 10 inch kevlar kaps.

To power them will be 1 M1C at .5 ohms to start then a second M1c will be added. So 1500rms on each in the end.

This box has to be pretty efficient. little box rise is a must.

I was reading all the archives on here and saw that about 12 in per cube with aero ports is appropriate and slightly more with 6 inch PVC.

What is my best route to go. I found that the 6 inch aeros have a 9.25 diameter to mount. finding a spot to mount 2 i believe is impossible on my face.

my face into car is 33.25 inches which needs to house 2 9512s and what ever port. and im making a funky trapezoid to fit in car opening. its 33.25 at base and up 10 inches then angles in to 20 inches wide at top which is roughly 15.25 but depending on depth of box may need to be 15 high. depth anywhere from 24-30. I am trying to make as small as possible though.

So if you can what kind of port area should I be looking at both with aeros and with a slot port? I was thinking around 2.5 net per woofer with 15-16 in per cube with a slot, 11-12 with an aeroport, and 12-14 with a PVC pipe.

with slot port like 72-80 sq inches and 15-16 per, aeros 2 6 inch aeros maybe 3? and same 2 or 3 6 inch PVC. other recs welcome!

Whats my best route guys?

BTW I am tuning to around 37-38 hz and mainly for daily pounding but I want to be as loud as possible on the meter when I do go to comps. I feel for the trunk class Id have a good shot.

all advice welcomed. DD experience is nice. let me know whats worked for you guys. Then I'll try to formulate the best route to go for my application.

thats a sick box and if I can make that work for 2 12s in a reasonable space I'd do but I would need help designing that one!

38 daily is far too high I would recommend more like 35. It will still compete well at the frequency trust me that's what my daily/spl beaters have been tuned to also since you have a car I believe your resonant frequency rises a bit which will give you better scores as well.

ive been running daily 37 hz tuning with DD fo a couple years now. when i design the box i design the F3 point to be about 28 hz. i dont know of many songs that I play below that. and if i do ill go easy on them. plus DDs are strong woofers. they take a little abuse .

i just need to know what kind of port area to run and see if im better off going slot or aero
