When my subs are playing, one has more excursion then the other. When I turn it up it botttoms out but the other doesnt, what gives?? I have 2 American Bass 15" VFL Extremes and a planet audio bb2400.1. Box is 8 cubes at 37hz

Just wondering if the subwoofer wires are the same length from amp and if they werent would it make any difference? You may want to put them on an ohm meter and make sure they both have the same resistance as well.

yeah I did that when I installed the subs. They both read somewhere of 1.9 each and when I connected them to the terminals they read 1 ohms

But im leaning towards what kranny asked. These things couldve been beat to hell and back. The guy that sold them to me never used them. He got them on a trade. I checked the coils and said ill take them. They could be just old as hell
