I was wondering about stuffing a sealed enclosure with polyfil? I've heard it tricks your subwoofer into thinking that it's in a larger enclosure. Is that good thing? And..what are your guy's feelings on stuffing enclosures?

Honestly, these are my first set of "nice" subs and I was a little scared about blowing them in a ported box because i'd be making it myself.. Honestly, I have no experience with them, what are the pros and cons between the two?

if you have the space go ported, ask someone on here to design a box and you'll be sorted.. the type of box isnt going to blow your subs unless its way too big or it has way too much port area for the power... just make sure you're sending clean power
