WIll i'm sick of losing back seats for my 12. Was thinking about going 2 15's and taking rear seats out and going for it....but I dont think its the plan anymore.

I am going to sell my whole sub stage setup...SA-12 BRZ1200 and my little Kinetik.

and go with something actually smaller lol.

I'm thinking a 1000w rms amp witha smaller footprint and 2 8's in a sealed enclosure between rear and front center seats.

I am probably going with Sundown E8v2's but I stumbled upon the American Bass XD8 for a similar price.

Power handling is a little higher with the AB XD.

any experience with the 2? any suggestions or opinions. Not a vs thread but I want opinions...even if its your cousins bf who has one.

I might go with the AB just to change it up unless it would be lower in terms of performance compared to the e8.

they're good, but nothing even comparable sa-8 v1 or v2. My friend had 4 of the xd8 on 2k, did a 147 something. I think i would rather get the alpine type-r 8 though, has bigger coils.

Yea I saw that type r 8...I didnt realize alpine made an 8 lol.

SA8v2s are straight beasts but I'm looking for a lower power dual 8 setup thats going into about 1ft sealed. The Sundown E8v2 was first choice just from my experience with sundown. But now coming across the type r and RF p2 8's they are all priced similarly with e8v2 and XD8. Makes decisions hard lol.

Hmmm. Thanks for input guys...the link helped alot.
