CLNSHVNnDRAGGN
No on hooking the amps together. What kind of box is it in? The pulsing is either a bad ground somewhere, bad set of rca's, or rca's are running too close to power wires and picking up noise. aN-i-No
It's a sealed box? If so then you'll just have to mess around with the placement. As far as the pulsing, is it like a dirty rumbling noise? Does it go away if the car is off? Does it go away if you unplug the rca cables from the amp? Also, what kind of Head Unit (radio) do you have? Sorry for all the questions, but if you can answer them all we'll be a little closer to solving the noise problem. CLNSHVNnDRAGGN
Back is probably gonna be best but I would build a new box and go ported with the sub firing up and the port to the back. ThaThreat
What size port and how far in should the tube go and where on the box is best to put the port. what size box do you think would be best? And its not really a noise its like a thump pulse. and it doesnt do it with car off. It only pulses when i turn the power up .and doesnt get worse when the volume is up or down. I can look at battery guage on dash and see it go up and down every time it pulses head unit is a jvc -kd g230
Guest
where is your amp grounded to
aN-i-No
Hmm..did you try unplugging the RCA cables? It kind of sounds like a ground issue but I can't be sure without actually having the truck in front of me. Try unplugging the RCA's and if it doesn't stop then check your speaker wires.
