pimpnFosgates Posted June 6, 2012 Report Share Posted June 6, 2012 allright guys. i been helping a good friend out a for a bit. he just bought this 1973 beetle and if you know me, i love my classics, i own the 73dodge dart swinger. but he had me install a new headunit and 6x9s because he was rocking a road gear HU that was 12x4 rms. so he bought a walmart pioneer and some pioneer 6x9s. he didnt like the 6x9s midbass so i ran e off a igh pass and he decided he wanted bass so he took his fusion 10 out of his other car for a lil bump. it sounded good to him. but i was like, its a sealed box. its too small. and its sloppy. he knows i enjoy working on cars and especially car audio so he had me make him a box for behing his back seats. and this is where im at. ill get pics of the box so far up tonight, and sadly i have no pics of it right now i dont believe. ill look. and post up when i know if i gots em or when i gets em. and of course its ported. pimpnFosgates Posted June 6, 2012 Author Report Share Posted June 6, 2012 love em and they just sound killer. i think its just the solid steel everywhere u can kind of see the port. heres the box, the pport all sealed n good. tfirst baffle is good then making second baffle to work as a shelf and hold the 6x9s in free air. should sound sicc. also there a piece were wrapping in speaker cloth so its all hidden and he doesnt have to worry bout his kids throwing stuff onto the sub or speakers on accident tuned to about 36 hertz.
