Blown subs? Help.

Im running 1 mrp m500 mono block alpine amp to a 15 inch kicker comp @ 4 ohm. It says the sub is 250 rms and the amp is 300 rms @ 4 ohm (which is what my sub is). Do I need to worry about blowing it? Is 50 rms more to much? Please help. Thank you!

you only have to worry about it blowing if you are distorting/clipping it.

I dont have the dd1. Whats the best way to set the gains and tune it so I wont get either?

oscilloscope, or dd1. the only two good methods in my opinion.

Like Kranny said. They only way to be sure is with those tools. You can't hear clipping down at 30hz and the whole DMM method is not the way to go.
