2K XJ Posted June 9, 2012 Report Posted June 9, 2012 Hey guys, so first off I would just like to say that I am a total noob to this subject so any help you can give me is greatly appreciated. I drive a 1999 Jeep Cherokee sport and from what I have read I have a 90 amp alternator. Recently I have been planning on doing a new system in the Jeep of 3 SA8 v2s on a SAZ1500. I have already bought the SA8s and am currently looking for a deal on the amp, but I know I will need to beef up the electrical in order to run the SA's to there full potential. That is where I need you guys' help. I don't know what upgrades will be sufficient for this system. Do I need a new HO alt? HO alt + battery/batteries? Or just add batteries?
