Jskiles Posted February 7, 2013 Author Report Share Posted February 7, 2013 My sound deadener came in today so hoepefully I can get that installed this monday, I ordered 40 sq ft. to do the roof so I can get that out of the way and start on the wall soon. I also got a quote for a mechman alt, probably going with the 240 with a XS D975 for the front battery and a D3100 for the back. While I've been planning and saving for the new build I've been working on my other wifes car. I'll just get a bigger battery bank when I upgrade later. It's 9 cubes tuned to 36hz , gonna do a couple layers of fiberglass and paint it on my next actual day off. I also ordered a DD-1 Friday night and it came in today which idle pretty damn fast. I'm going to order my alt and batteries tomorrow and a big 3 kit as well. I removed the panel where the factory subwoofer location is (which will be the location to my 2nd battery) and ran it through a grommet. I also came across a new rattle. For the time being I pulled out the box and painted it flat black because I got tired of looking at mdf when I back up. I think im going to load the box first then put the subs back in because this thing was a bitch to put in with the subs lol. I went with the D925 and the D3400 because the D925 is whats supposed to fit into the stock location (but it's actually smaller than that) and the 3400 should fit where the factory subwoofer used to be.
