ant the ninja
i was just about to say heat shield they usually only rattle on startup and then stop sometimes once in a while at like stop lights youll hear them check near the manifold to see if it might be there It's so damn loud on start up but I had my sister drive it around the block yesterday and you can actually hear it pretty much the whole time which makes me think it isn't a heat shield, it seems like its getting louder. I'm gonna get under it today and check everything out. I think I'm just gonna grab another 40 series and put it on, they aren't too expensive but I'm gonna check everything first before spending any money. ant the ninja
Yeah definitely going to get under it at some point today. hopefully It is something minor and I can just tighten it down, its just so hard to pinpoint the sound because the muffler/engine itself is so loud, its hard to hear when you rev it up while being underneath it. 2002 Ford Explorer XLT Front Stage: Crescendo CCX 6.5's Rear Stage: ??? ant the ninja
So I just got under it and its definitely coming from inside the muffler near the out pipe, I think my best bet is to just grab another one and have it put on, maybe they can take a look at it better when they replace it. Im almost 100 percent sure thats where its coming from though. 2002 Ford Explorer XLT Front Stage: Crescendo CCX 6.5's Rear Stage: ??? ant the ninja
So i went ahead and bought a super 44 flowmaster and this time I'm going to have it put on professionally instead of my friend doing it, hopefully it makes the truck itself run better. Every since I put that last one on it never felt the same, not sure what happend. Anyway, thanks for everyones help. 2002 Ford Explorer XLT Front Stage: Crescendo CCX 6.5's Rear Stage: ???
