I do have a post for my build here: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/145096-1995-toyota-tacoma-extended-cab/ I've talked to Bob from American Bass for the past few days, and American Bass has been so great in helping me out. I've also talked to Rusty from DC Audio, and he's a great dude. He told me that I need to "test, test, test". I've also been working with Ben Hahn who is also here in Zanesville. All of these guys have helped me out so much. So, I guess what I'm needing help with is where to go next. I don't know whether I should built a new box, get a different sub, more of the same one, extra batteries, or just start testing and tuning. I really just want to compete someday in Street Stock A or B, which I believe is just a single sub class, under 2000 watts rms. I'm not sure what numbers I should hit on a decibel meter or termlab before I even think about competing. Please give me any and all advice that you have. Thanks in advance. Test your burps and where your truck is peaking at, Termlab constantly and start moving things around to get your optimal spl. Personally I just like moving air so I don't care about numbers. brandonlearL7 Posted June 17, 2012 Author Report Posted June 17, 2012 Did some tests today, believe I'm hitting max db's somewhere between 43-54hZ, headunit volume at 12, when normally played at 20, was hitting 93.8db. I'll get a full 20 volume test tomorrow and let you know where it sits.
