i have 2 Massive Audio CW 12s and currently have a 4th order box that is tuned to 45hz. i recently started going to more comps and need a "more fit" box for bass! I have a 2001 grand prix 4 door and my back seat has the center part that folds down to get into the trunk. one good thing about the box i have now is that the port comes flush with the seat so when you open it up you have a port firing into the cab. is there a way i can have the subs in a lower tuned box with the subs facing the back and the port firing out the open center? or the subs facing up?

for a 4th order your tune is probably to low already, and you want to lower it more?

you should be around 47-50hz depending on what you sealed side is tuned to,

if you want to go to a standard ported box that's a different story,

if i were you i look at aero ports or a removable port so as you can change the tune on the fly for daily and comp,

so i can change the port to get a lower hz? i dont know how to post pics on here otherwise i would show you the box!

put the pic on photo bucket or similar,

BUT................. I just blew them and now saving up for some MASSIVE DMX 12s! So a new box will have to be built! hahaha
